Figure Painting Finished

I finished my figure painting! I might go back and touch up a few things later, but for now it's done.

I'll take a better picture at some point. Next week we start a new figure painting :)

Figure Drawing

I haven't posted any of my figure drawings here yet... I believe it's high time I did. So here we are, three of my most recent drawings done in class.

I'm still experimenting with different styles, hence the different looks :)

Life and Death WIP

Methods and media project: illustrate life and death in two illustrations. I chose the phoenix because life and death doesn't mean a beginning and an end to me. It a continuous cycle. Here are a sketch and a color sketch of what the two pieces may end up looking like.

Toxics in the Environment

My science class final project: do a piece of art that has something to do with what you've learned in class. What have I learned? A mother's arms are a dangerous place for an infant to be. Also her belly; just as dangerous.

Now I'm off to finish the artist statement that goes with this. I may or may not post it... We'll see.
